The mission of Venceremos is to promote awareness and solidarity with the social transformation taking place worldwide in the fight against neo-liberal globalization and war. By showing our solidarity with the emerging social movements, popular governments and other community activist organizations around the planet, we can create a well-informed network of volunteers who will work together in a counter-campaign against the US-led aggression imposed on the Global South and upon working people everywhere. By promoting solidarity with the peoples of the Americas, the Middle East, the Asia-Pacific, Africa and Europe, in a word, the oppressed peoples around the world, it will be possible to create an alternative to the Washington Consensus and its dual program of neo-liberal globalization and war.

Concretely, the three goals of Venceremos are:

1) Support communities and organizations participating in the fundamental social transformation now underway in the Latin America and the rest of the world as a whole.
2) Promote an understanding and awareness of the process amongst the general public through information campaigns, workshops, study groups and solidarity brigade tours.
3) Counter the US-led aggression unleashed upon the social movements and governments that work to raise their people out of poverty and exclusion so as to reestablish control over their own destinies.
